A special CD featuring some of Hawaii's top performers is in the works at Sounds Like Hale. Our dear kumu and friend Keli'i Tau'a is recovering from a recent illness and is in need of financial help. As executive producers of this project, we have gathered friends, former students, and colleagues to perform some of Keli'i's songs and chants. The artists performing include Amy Hanaiali'i, Charles Ka'upu, Roland Cazimero, Mike Kaawa, Skylark Rosetti, David Kauahikaua, Melinda Carrole, Ken Makuakane, Tarvin Makia, Kapono Kamaunu, Uncle Poki, Sheldon & Kevin Brown, Ron Kuala'au, Frank Delima, and Halemanu. The CD will be released soon.
